ONE KENSINGTON GARDENS

One Kensington Gardens is a prominent residential development comprising 97 luxury apartments located opposite Kensington Palace Gardens.  The redevelopment of the former Kensington Palace Hotel involved facade extensive facade retention and demolition and 2 storey basement excavation to the full extent of the site whilst maintaining and supporting 'island neighbours' within the site.  The scheme involved extensive and sophisticated temporary support and movement monitoring for a period in excess of 3 years.  The proposals required agreement of over 200 Awards with a large number of affected neighbours.  Ten 1 acted on behalf of the Developer ensuring smooth delivery of the scheme.
