TEN 1
Ten 1 Surveyors were formed in 2015 by Ian, Bradley and Mel. The team has since grown to include Peter and Ben.
Ian Crawford
Ian is a Director and co-owner of Ten 1. Prior to working at Ten 1, Ian's career spanned over 30 years, including Director and Partner roles at prominent specialised building consultancy firms in London. Ian qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1996 whilst working at EC Harris. In 1996 he joined Anstey Horne & Company, where he specialised in Party Wall Act and neighbourly matters and where he was made Partner of the firm. In 2007, Ian joined Schatunowski Brooks as the Partner heading up the neighbourly matters team. In 2008, Schatunowski Brooks was purchased by GVA, and Ian continued to fill a Director role until leaving in 2015 to launch Ten 1. Ian has dealt exclusively with Party Wall disputes, boundary issues and general neighbourly matters for over 20 years. He has acted as an Expert Witness in a number of Court cases, providing formal evidence for Party Wall issues, boundary and general neighbourly construction related disputes.

BRADLEYBURDEN
Bradley is a Director and co-owner of Ten 1. Prior to working at Ten 1, Bradley worked with a number of leading Building Consultancy firms, including EC Harris, Anstey Horne, Shearwater Consultancy, Wilks Head and Eve and GVA Schatunowski Brooks, gaining experience in all core areas of Building Surveying including Contract Administration, Dilapidations and Building Surveys. Since qualifying as a Chartered Surveyor in 2007, Bradley has dealt exclusively with Party Wall Act matters, boundary disputes and neighbourly matters for prominent and complicated projects in London. In addition Bradley has acted in the role of Expert Witness providing evidence in neighbourly construction related disputes.

MELANIE AUSTIN
Mel is Ten 1's Business Manager. She has worked with and supported specialist Party Wall and neighbourly matters teams for over 10 years, providing Director level support at leading party wall practices, Anstey Horne & Company and GVA Schatunowski Brooks. As Business Manager, Mel deals with all team coordination and business development issues, in particular fulfilling critical project monitoring on all instructions to ensure successful delivery, together with team liaison and fee management.

Peter is a Senior Surveyor at Ten 1 Surveyors. Prior to joining Ten 1, Peter has worked with leading specialised Party Wall Act practices, including Anstey Horne, Joel Michaels Associates and Wilks Head & Eve, where he dealt exclusively with Party Wall Act and neighbourly matters. Peter has been working in this specialised field for 5 years, during which time he has also achieved Associate status with the RICS, having successfully completed the competency assessment in 2015.
